<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a male tab of a female terminal fitting by a fitting hood and making the fitting hood strong, even after the combination. SOLUTION: In a multiple tier associated connector, a fitting hood 47 of a main housing 45 is composed of a rear wall 57 and circumferential walls 59 surrounding all sides, and a combining plug-in hole 63 that is directed toward and continued to a part above the rear side of a terminal receiving chamber 49 is formed on the rear wall 57 of the fitting hood 47, a fitting hood 69 of an auxiliary housing 68 is composed of three walls 77a-77c, such as a wall before a press-contact opening 73 and walls located on both its sides and is inserted from the plug-in hole 63 of the main housing 45 into the fitting hood 47. The inserted fitting hood 69 of the auxiliary housing 68 is formed in such a size that the three walls 77a-77c are placed along the inside surfaces of the circumferential walls 59 of the fitting hood 47 of the main housing 45 and is equipped with a closable terminal cover 79 which is closable to the press-contact opening 73 of the auxiliary housing 68.</p> |
