PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally correct the color deviation of a picture and to provide the picture with improved picture quality by executing weighting through the use of a stored weighting value in a part of or the whole color component values of the stored picture. SOLUTION: A picture input part 11 reads a test picture for obtaining the weight value or an original, etc., being a processing picture. A picture processing part 12 executes shading correction, density correction or quantization as against the read picture. A picture storing part 13 stores the picture as the color component values of the optional number of colors per one picture element. A matrix arithmetic part 14 executes the weighted average calculation of a matrix consisting of the picture element component values of the picture and a weight matrix being the weight value. A correlative value arithmetic part 15 calculates the correlative value of another color as against a reference color in a weighted average value in a proper deviation quantity. A correlative value and a deviation quantity holding part 16 holds the class of the correlative value of another color as against the reference color in the weighted average value with the deviation quantity at this time. A weight value storing part 17 stores the weight value which is used for correcting the color deviation. |
