A takeup apparatus for yarn, comprising a plurality of nozzles (2) adapted to spin out yarn (Y) therefrom and arranged along a straight line, a spinning chimney (3) adapted to cool and guide the yarn and provided on the downstream side of the nozzles, a pair of feed rollers (7, 8) arranged on the downstream side of the spinning chimney so that the axes thereof extend at substantially right angles to the straight line along which the nozzles are arranged, a takeup machine (W) provided on the downstream side of the two rollers so that the axes of the rollers and that of a bobbin holder are parallel to one another, a lower opening (3c) of the spinning chimney which has an elongated shape and extends substantially in parallel with the axes of the rollers, and which is positioned in the vicinity of the two rollers, and a plurality of yarn path restriction guides (34, 35) provided on the upstream side of the feed roller (7) and on the downstream side of the other feed roller (8) respectively so that the restriction guides can be moved in the axial direction of these rollers (7, 8). The takeup apparatus for yarn is excellent in working efficiency and capable of providing a high-quality package. |
