PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a nip pressure between two long rotary bodies in the state that the circumferential surfaces thereof are made to abut on each other so as to become uniform over the whole length in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: A housing 21 is supported by a frame 11 to be freely turned around a supporting shaft 10. A pressure adjustment mechanism is formed by being provided with a leaf spring 51 whose length is almost identical to that of a developing roller 26, a pair of coil springs 56 whose base end sides are fitted to both ends of the springs 51 and an energizing force adjustment means 53 adjusting the energizing force of the spring 51 and a pair of springs 56. The proper place of the spring 51 is fitted to the frame 11 and the tip sides of a pair of springs 56 are fitted to the housing 21. Thus, the roller 26 is constituted so that it is pressed in the direction of a photoreceptor drum 31 around the supporting shaft 10. |
