PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly supply developer to a developing sleeve. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a stirring member 72 obtained by attaching a spiral blade to a shaft provided between the walls of a developing housing 40, carrying the developer to both end parts from a center part in an axial direction and supplying the developer to the developing sleeve; and the shape of the spiral blade attached to the member 72 is formed to restrain carrying ability in the axial direction at the center part in the axial direction. The spiral blade of the member 72 has a 1st blade 112a provided to one end side from the center part in the axial direction and a 2nd blade 112b provided to the other end side from the center part in the axial direction. It is suitable to form the 1st and the 2nd blades 112a and 112b so that the outside diameters of the respective ends 122a and 122b at the center part in the axial direction may become gradually and smoothly smaller, and it is more suitable to form them so that the ends 122a and 122b may become gradually smaller until they are aligned with the axis within one pitch of the respective ends at the center part in the axial direction. |
