PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the entire light emission efficiency, by effectively recovering light emitted from a substrate as a light emission portion in a light take-out surface side direction in a light emitting element, for which a gallium nitride compound, for instance, is laminated on a transparent sapphire substrate. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a light emitting element 4 for which the semiconductor layer of a p-n junction is laminated on a transparent crystal substrate 4a, and a (p) side electrode 4b and an (n) side electrode 4c are respectively provided on a main light take-out surface side and a lead frame 1 integrally provided with a mount 3 for loading the light emitting element 4 and electrically conducted to the light emitting element 4. The mount 3 is provided with a reflection surface structure for reflecting the light from a surface other than a main light take-out surface through an optical path not interfering with the light emitting element 4 in the almost same direction as a light emitting direction from the main light take-out surface. |
