PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the convenience of an international portable telephone as well as to avoid troubles among languages by loading a translation expert system and a voice recognition technique, etc., on a satellite, performing the recognition processing of input contents to a microphone by the voice recognition technique and converting the recognized contents to the language of a communicating party. SOLUTION: A style recognition and generation part 14 generates a style of the style recognized character signals of a call origination place. The translation expert system 15 converts the contents of the recognized character signals into the style of the language of a distribution place by a translation word style processing part 151 and analyzes a translation word form by a translation word form analysis part 152 and a translation word pattern recognition dictionary 153 . According to the analyzed result, a translation word conversion part 154 performs conversion on the translation words of the distribution place by fuzzy inference and the translation words translated to the language of the distribution place by the connection of the translation words are obtained by a translation word generation part 155 . As a translation form, a transfer system for preparing intermediate expressions to the language to be translated such as English → Japanese and Japanese →English, providing intermediate expressions by the each language and converting the language by the intermediate expressions is present. |
