PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate inexpensive and highly accurate measuring of the weight of hot solution in a container by calculating the depth of the hot solution by using the measured value of a reference beam dipped inter-body distance and using the regression type of a relation between a depth and a volume. SOLUTION: After a slug 11 stuck by dipping is sufficiently removed, a distance (d) between the attaching position Ps of a reference beam 3 on a dipped body 2 and the upper end position Pe of a ground metal or dissolved part is measured. A measuring method is optional, but preferably a method of calculating a distance by photographing and processing an image by a television camera is used, because work is easy even in a high temperature environment. With container use history information and a depth of hot solution set as independent variables, a regression type for calculating the weight of hot solution is made for each container, and incorporated in a calculation circuit. The weight of hot solution is calculated from the container use history information, the distance (d) from a reference point equivalent position obtained from a measuring logic and the regression type. This result is outputted through an output port to a weight display or other calculators. |
