<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master disk used at the time of manufacturing an optical disk in which information is recorded and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A first photosensitive layer 110 which is insensitive to a prescribed wavelength of a laser beam and a second photosensitive layer 120 which is more sensitive than the first photosensitive layer 110 are successively arranged on a substrate 20. Therefore, when the photosensitive layer is selectively exposed and etched, the master disk 100, wherein a boundary part between grooves 123 and second information pits 111 recessed more than the grooves 123 is clearly distinguished and a nearly perpendicular inside wall is provided in the grooves 123 and the second information pits 111, is provided. Whereby, a reproducing characteristic of the optical disk obtained by the master disk 100 is improved.</p> |
