PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify constitution and to improve the use efficiency of a line even by a low speed signal by accessing to the multiplex frame signal of an SDH system, selectively extracting a signal from a time slot, demultiplexing it, sending it to a terminal equipment, selectively arranging it to a prescribed time slot, multiplexing it and sending it to a transmission line. SOLUTION: The signal from the terminal equipment 3 connected to a node device (N1) 2 is converted into a parallel signal by a line interface part 25 in the node device 2 and it is outputted to a demultiplexing bus 26 at timing that a multiplex/demultiplex part 24 controls. The multiplex/demultiplex part 24 holds data outputted to the demultiplexing bus 26 for prescribed time and arranges data and additional information in a time slot on a payload. SOH is added to the multiplexed signal in an STM-1 terminal part 22, is converted into an optical signal and is transmitted to a downstream node device 2. |
