PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a random number generator capable of generating a random number for determining a parameter for circuit simulation corresponding to the distribution of measured parameters by generating a 2nd random number based on the distribution of measured parameters. SOLUTION: A parameter storage part 11 of the random number generator 10 previously stores circuit parameters, device parameters and process parameters which are set based on the measured result by measuring a sample prepared by certain technology for every kind. Then, this random number generator 10 generates the 2nd random number based on the measured parameters and this 2nd random number is used as the parameter for circuit simulation. Namely, this parameter for circuit simulation is generated based on the distribution of measured parameters. Therefore, a circuit simulation executing part 34 can perform the circuit simulation while using the parameter for circuit simulation corresponding to the distribution of measured parameters. |
