PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily fixable a ventilating fan without using a tightening member such as a screw and to prevent vibration or noise of the ventilating fan from being propagated to a peripheral member by picking and collapsing an elastic member wound round the periphery of a casing and fitting the ventilating fan in a ventilating duct. SOLUTION: The ventilating fan 14 is fitted into a housing recessed place 15 in a state where the elastic member 16 made of urethane foam is wound round the periphery of the fan casing 14a. The thickness of the member 16 wound round the casing 14a is set to be larger than a gap (t) between the casing 14a and the recessed place 15. Therefore, when the fan 14 is fitted into the recessed place 15 of a 1st duct 11, the member 16 is collapsed by the casing 14a and the inner wall of the 1st duct 11, and the fan 14 is fixed in the recessed place 15 by repulsive force attained by the member 16. Thus, a gap between the casing 14a and the inner wall of the 1st duct 11 is hermetically sealed. |
