A mounting frame is held inside a cavity in the wall panel and the phone cradle (4) is secured to a guide piece (3) inside the frame by a snap-fit coupling. Applying pressure to the cradle makes it spring out from the frame with the opening in the cradle positioned in front of the panel. This spring mechanism is achieved by fitting a compression spring (6) to the bottom of the guide piece and locking the cradle inside the guide piece the next time pressure is applied to the cradle by pushing it in towards the panel. In the locked position the front side of the cradle is flush with the panel.
