PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma address type organic EL device with which a highly minute picture with a large area can be realized at a low cost. SOLUTION: This plasma address type organic EL device comprises a plasma address part and an EL element drive part. The address part comprises a substrate 1, walls 2 arranged on the substrate 1, a dielectric layer 3 provided on the walls 2, and plasma channel switches 4 made in the groove between the walls 2. Electrodes 5 for electric capacity and signal electrode lines 7 are provided on the dielectric layer 3, and AT plasma production, the electric capacity produced between the electrode 5 for electric capacity, the signal electrode line 7 and plasma is electrically charged by the voltage applied to the signal electrode line 7. The EL element drive part comprises organic EL element arranged at every address and one transistor which is adjacently in contact with them and energized in response to the charge of the electric capacity to drive the elements. |
