PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulator which can debug the write logic of a user program in a flash cell write mode by decoding the address and data of a flash memory which should be rewritten, rewriting a RAM in place of the flash memory and debugging the write logic of the user program. SOLUTION: When a back ROM event detector 9 detects the start of a flash cell write operation as the back ROM event, a supervisor 12 reads a prescribed register among the SFR 7 included in the peripheral emulation chips 4 of a microcomputer 2 via a CPU emulation chip 3. Based on this read value, the address and data of a flash memory 5 which should be rewritten are decoded. Then a substitute RAM 11 is rewritten via the chip 3 in place of the memory 5, based on the decoded address and data of the memory 5, and the write logic of a user program 8 is debugged. |
