摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the direction detection of a vehicle by separation of the vehicle from an attendant, highly precise position detection and their combination, by using a high sensitive magnetic sensor, and extracting various data by combination with the detection precision of an optical sensor. SOLUTION: A transmission type optical sensors 11 are disposed at right and left both sides of both travelling lanes. The sensor 11 is constituted of a plurality of light emitting elements and receiving optics, and constituted so that combination is performed on time division operation and the like for the narrowness of directivity for the invasion of sunlight and error detection prevention with an adjacent sensor. A high sensitive magnetic sensor 12 is disposed at the same position as the arrangement position of the sensor 11, and the magnetic state of the metal body of a vehicle is detected by the approach of the vehicle with the sensor 12. In other words, a signal processing part 14 executes vehicle detection by performing prescribed signal processing on the basis of the detection signal from the sensor 11 and the magnetic sensor 12. Position detection is performed at the time of vehicle approach by combining the detection waveform with the magnetic sensor 12 and the detection signal of the sensor 11 with a signal processing part 14.
