PIEZOELECTRIC RESONATOR AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric resonator and an electric component using it where a reduction in a differenceΔF between a resonance frequency and an antiresonance frequency is suppressed. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric resonator 10 includes a substrate 12 where piezoelectric layers 14 and internal electrodes 16 are laminated. The adjacent piezoelectric layers 14 are polarized in different directions at both sides of each internal electrode 16. A groove 18 is made on one side face of the substrate 12 and the internal electrodes 16 are exposed at both sides at an interval of one. The insulation films 20, 22 are formed at the part of the internal electrodes 16 not exposed. External electrodes 24, 26 are formed at both sides of the groove 18 of the substrate 12 and connected to the internal electrodes 16.
