PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a button switch as a telephone number notice selection switch, when a caller number partially non-information service is operated. SOLUTION: This telephone set having a function of informing an opposite telephone set of caller telephone number information is provided with a telephone number transmission means that sends caller ID number data D2 and with a caller number notice button 10 that selects whether the caller telephone number information is sent to the opposite telephone number or not sent thereto. When the caller number notice button 10 is operated, the opposite party telephone set is informed about the telephone number information of the caller, when a selection means is not operated, the opposite party is not informed about the caller telephone number information.
