摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovering boiler which can omit space therein, and can remove nitrogen oxides in waste gas. SOLUTION: There is provided a waste heat recovering boiler which recovers heat in a waste gas discharged from a prime mover, injects and mixes ammonia into the waste gas to reduce and remove nitrogen oxides therefrom. A drum downcomer 3, an evaporator 4 wherein a number of heat transfer tubes are methodically arranged, and a denitrifying unit 5 for reducing and removing nitrogen oxides from the waste gas, are arranged in the direction of a waste gas stream. Ammonia injection pipes 71, 72 of an ammonia injection portion are arranged at an upstream side or a downstream side of the drum downcast pipe 3, being right angled and in close relation thereto. Because of this arrangement, the length of the waste heat recovering boiler in the direction of the waste gas stream, can be mitigated, ensuring a design of more compact, more omitted space and low cost in comparison with the conventional waste heat recovering boiler.
