PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a common current source and to improve the driving capability. SOLUTION: Driving control signals PWM(pulse width modulation)1 , PWM2 ... PWMn of channels CH1 , CH2 ,...CHn (n: natural number above 2) are generated based on activation signals F1 , F2 , ...Fn and inactivation signals R1 , R2 ,...Rn in JK flip-flop FF1 , FF2 ,... FFn . For channels for reference, the reference signals from the reference signal generating part REF1 are used as the activation signals and, for other channels, the inactivation signals of the adjacent channel are used as the activation signals. Inactivation signals R1 , R2 ,...Rn of each channel are generated by comparing the elapsed time after the reference signal generation measured by a counter CNT1 with the modulation information M1 stored in the register REG1 ,REG2 ,...REGn by means of comparators COMP1 , COMP2 ,...COMPn . |
