摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a battery, which restrains increases the number of components as small as possible and which has both a refresh function and a function for displaying a residual capacity. SOLUTION: A discharging device is installed at a charger 3. A display device 8, equipped with a switch, which displays the remaining capacity of a battery 4 is installed at a battery case 2. A connection discriminating means 28, which selectively operates the discharging device and the display device 8 according to the connection state of the battery 4 to the charger 3 by operating the switch, is connected to the discharging device and the display device 8. In a state where the battery 4 is connected to the charger 3, the switch is operated so as to be turned on, and the discharging device is operated. In a state where the battery 4 is not connected to the charger 3, the switch is operated so as to be turned on, and the display device 8 is operated.
