PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the carrying property of a small-sized recording material while preventing the electrostatic offsetting of a toner image on a recording material at a fixing means with respect to an image forming device forming the toner image on an image carrier and electrostatically transferring the toner image on the recording material by a transfer roller and having a recording material carrying member between a transferring part and a fixing part. SOLUTION: The separating direction B of the recording material P at the time of separating from the transfer roller 5 is controlled by a carrying member 28a so as to be set in a direction closer to the side at the image carrier 1 than the tangent direction S of the transfer roller at a contact part N where the transfer roller 5 and the image carrier 1 are brought into contact, and also outer circumferential speed at a contact point R where the carrying member 28a is brought into contact with the recording material P is set to be >=105% of the carrying speed of the recording material. Or, the carring member 28a is constituted of a material whose volume resistivity is <=1×10<10> [Ω/cm], and the outer circumferential speed at the contact point R where the carrying member 28a is brought into contact with the recording material P is set to be >=110% of the carrying speed of the recording material.
