PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device wherein a surface defect is inspected with sure even with such inspected surface on which oil is partially stuck or a curved one, while application to a press line is easy. SOLUTION: A device comprises a lighting means 1 of an irradiation angleθ1 to an inspected surface F, an image input means 2 of an imaging angleθ2 which is larger than the irradiation angleθ1, and an image processing means 3. Here, at least one of the lighting means 1 and the image input means 2 is such means as comprising a light quantity adjusting function corresponding to respective light reflectivity at a oil-sticking part Fo and a non oil-sticking part Fn on the inspected surface F. Thus, the device is simplified and reduced in size, such inspected surface F as oil is partially sticking is inspected as it is, and a curved inspected surface F is inspected with sure, as well.
