PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to automatically identify a caller telephone number. SOLUTION: A line control section 4 receives a call signal to start a call reception operation and receives an ID signal, including a caller telephone number to provide an output of it to a caller telephone number detection section 5 and outputs a received voice signal to a voice compression section 6 for recording. The caller telephone number detection section 5 detects the caller telephone number from the ID signal. A storage section 7 stores the caller telephone number and the voice signal compressed by the voice compression section 6. A recording section 8 prints out a facsimile signal received at the reception of the facsimile signal but prints out the caller telephone number, when a phone call is received. A caller telephone number list generating section 10 reads the caller telephone number to generate a caller telephone number arrival order list. An operation display section 9 outputs the arrival order list generating instruction to the caller telephone number list generating section, on which the call arrival order list of the generated caller telephone numbers is displayed.
