The invention concerns a closing device comprising, on the vehicle door (11) a lock (14) to be actuated by a hand lever (12). Said lock is normally in locked position, but it should be capable of being placed in unlocked position by a control device (30) arranged in the vehicle (10), said position making said actuating hand lever operative. Said control device is made effective by means of an antenna (33) mounted in the vehicle and a transmission and reception unit (32), when a communication with a data storage medium (20) located outside the vehicle is successfully carried out, said data storage medium being also provided with a transmission and reception unit (22) for this purpose. In order to optimise the effects of the communication between the data storage medium and the vehicle, the antenna of the transmission and reception unit located in the vehicle is placed in the door handle (15) zone, preferably in the door handle hand lever made of insulating material.
