The propeller system, for a vessel, has two coaxial propellers (1,2) keyed to the end of the propeller shaft (1). Using at least two propellers (2,3), they have different diameters. The leading propeller (2) has a smaller diameter (D) than the main propeller (3). The diameter of the front propeller is between 40 and 95 percent that of the main propeller.
