The parallel grab has a housing (2) with a stop (8,8') to fix the proximity switch (7). The stop is an integral part of the housing, and may be a catch element (9). The grab jaws have link sides (6) with suspension on one side, and act in direction of closing or opening stroke. Grab jaw stops to limit the opening stroke are fastened to the housing and adjusted via setting screws.
