<p>An electric connecting device, wherein the upper operating member (17), when moved vertically, causes the moving plate (14) to move horizontally through the X-shaped link (18) to displace the contact pin into or out of contact with the terminal of one electronic part. Two or more of the X-shaped links (18) are provided spaced apart from each other along the side portion of the moving plate in the horizontal moving direction. The lower end portion (23b) of one link member (23) is pivotably connected to the socket body (13) and the lower end portion (25a) of the other link member (25) is pivotably connected to the moving plate (14). The upper end portion (25b) of one link member (25) is pivotably connected to the upper operating member (17) and the upper end portion (23c) of the other link member (23) is connected to the upper operating member (17) so that it is horizontally movable relative to the upper operating member (17). With this construction, even when the amount of distance that the upper operating member (17) is pushed down increases, the push-down force required does not proportionally increase. This construction also allows the moving plate (14) to move horizontally accurately.</p> |
