A video signal transmitter for transmitting a video signal correctly comprises a PLL circuit (5) for generating a transmission clock signal (S5) having a first cut-off frequency lower than the frequency of a horizontal synchronizing signal included in a digital video signal, having a characteristic to attenuate signals of frequencies higher than the first cut-off frequency, synchronized in phase with a dot clock signal (S14) for recognizing the data on one pixel of the digital video signal (S9), and having a frequency N times (N is an integer of 2 or more) that of the first dot clock signal (S14), and a PLL circuit (6) for generating a transmission clock signal (S6) from a serial signal (S2) inputted through a transmission cable (4), the signal (S6) having a second cut-off frequency higher than the frequency of the horizontal synchronizing signal and following up a signal having a frequency lower than the second cut-off frequency. |
