<p>A telescopic supporting column, especially for treatment couches, tables, hospital beds etc., including an inner telescopic supporting column section (1), an outer telescopic supporting column section (3) and an intermediate telescopic supporting column section (2), an actuator (4) for telescopic movement of the supporting column, and a cord drive device (10) attached to the supporting column for increasing the effect of the length of stroke of the actuator, characterised in that the actuator (10) is connected between a supporting column end and the intermediate supporting column section, and that the cord drive device includes a pulley (8, 9) in each end of the intermediate supporting column section and, placed around the pulley (8, 9), a cord drive which is connected to the inner and outer supporting column section, whereby the cord drive is double-acting.</p> |
