A clear deodorant stick composition is disclosed that includes a solvent, a gelling agent, an odor-controlling agent selected from the group consisting of a germicidal agent, a deodorizing agent, a masking agent and a combination thereof, and a plasticizing/solubilizing agent selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene 2-decyltetradecyl ether, ethoxylated dimethicone copolyol, and combination thereof.
