<p>The medical oxygen preferably has greater than 99.0 (especially greater than 99.5) vol.% purity and is present in amount /-21 vol.% in the gas. The nitrogen is preferably medical nitrogen with greater than 99.5 (especially greater than 99.8) vol.% purity. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a container containing the above breathing gas; (2) production of a breathing gas, especially as described above, by supplying the pure medical oxygen and nitrogen components under pressure into a pressurized gas container; and (3) breathing gas production equipment comprising a liquefied medical oxygen storage container (11), a liquefied nitrogen storage container (12), pumps (13, 20) connected by lines (18, 19) to the respective storage containers (11, 12), heat exchangers (14, 21) connected by lines (22, 23) to the respective pumps (13, 20) and one or more connection lines (24, 25, 27) for a compressed gas container (40) which is connected to the heat exchangers (14, 21), is fitted with shutoff valves (15, 26, 33, 34, 35, 36) and is associated with a filling pressure gauge (37).</p> |
