A reclosable food packaging (1) comprising a receptacle (3) and a closure (2) therefor, which receptacle and closure (2) are formed as a single piece from a thermoplastics material and are joined to one another by hinge means (4) for allowing movement of the closure relative to the receptacle for repeated opening and closing of the receptacle, and releasable securing means (5) for releasably securing the closure in the closed position. Preferably, the receptacle is sealed by means of a removable film (16) that is adhered to the receptacle. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such a reclosable food packaging.
