The assembly includes a frame (10) comprising a base plate (11) and two side plates (12) connected to two lateral ends of the base plate to form a U-shaped structure. Each of the side plates, has a protrusion provided along its length direction. A connector sub-assembly which is attached to the base plate, includes a PCB (130). A power supply connector (14) with a first connecting side for connection with a power supply, a first golden finger contact expansion connector (15) with a second connecting side for connection to a golden finger contact on connector sub-assembly of another power supply assembly are provided in the connector sub-assembly. A power supply (20) with a housing having a groove provided in its side walls, is provided. One of the protrusions of the frame side walls and a second golden finger contact in connection with the first connecting side of the power supply connector are fittingly engaged into the respective grooves of the power supply housing side walls.
