A solar module (100), for mounting on a house roof, has a trough-like support (10) dimensioned for insertion in a water channel of a roof tile. Also claimed is a combination of a solar module and a roof tile, in which the solar module is as described above. Preferably, the support (10) is formed of thin extruded or rolled, tin-clad, lead-containing base material sheets or plates which are intimately joined together by plastic deformation, intercrystalline fracture during deformation being prevented by using, as the lead-containing base material, a tin-containing lead alloy of composition 0.15-0.85% Sn, 0.05-0.15% Sb, 0.03-0.06% Cu, 0.01-0.10% Bi, NOTGREATER 0.10% other additions and balance Pb.
