<p>An electrical meter (20) includes a housing (21) in which are disposed two input terminals (22, 23) which are adapted to be selectively electrically connected to respective pairs of conductors (11, 12, 13). A measurement means, in the form of an Ohm-meter (25), is responsive to a first signal received by terminals (22, 23) for providing a second signal indicative of at least one electrical parameter of the conductors (11, 12, 13). A protection circuit (26) is electrically disposed between terminals (22, 23) and meter (25), and responsive to the first signal for selectively electrically isolating meter (25) from terminals (22, 23).</p> |
