Contacting and de-contacting device for plugging or unplugging module of automation equipment

A device for contacting and de-contacting during plugging in or unplugging a module (M,M') during operation of automation equipment. The module (M,M') is connected to the automation equipment via signal- and supply-lines. A switch element is used to detect commencement of plugging or unplugging and for generating a related module change signal (WS,WZ), in which in the event of plugging or unplugging, connection or disconnection of the signal- and/or supply-lines results.
