A sensor on the steering linkage monitors the steering deflection to enable a control circuit to drive servo motors which swivel the headlamps to either side. The headlamps are swiveled into the bend to better illuminate the road. Either the headlamp on the inside of the bend is turned into the bend while the other headlamp illuminates straight ahead, or both headlamps are turned into the bend.
