The item display surface (9) stands off-parallel to the plane intersecting the vertical sectors (3) of the shelving uprights (2a-d). The rear wall (6) has wedge form and is slotted out for the item display hooks. The rear walls have hooks to hang them in the uprights and also on the narrow endface of the wedge-shaped wall have holes taking parts of the items e.g. lengths of cable. Thief-proof protection (8) for the items on display in the form of locking bars are passed through the endface holes. The bar hooks into slots on the wedge-shaped rear wall.
