Hardening material for medical and dental use

A medical and dental curable material which contains, as an inexpensable component, alpha-tricalcium phosphate and/or alpha-tetracalcium phosphate. One or more tannin or tannin deriv. and optionally, one or more collagen or collagen deriv. are used as the curing adjusting agent for this material. One or more organic acid can optionally be used as the curing-adjusting agent. The collagens or collagen derivs. should be fibrillated for more than 8 mins. under physiological conditions. Typical examples of curing adjusting agent components are tannic acid, citric acid, cider acid, and malonic acid. The typical compsn. of this medical and dental curable material is alpha-tricalcium phosphate, water, organic acid (citric acid and/or malonic acid) and tannic acid.
