The stub axle is a forged one-piece part with a wheel bearing socket (2) which is wider than it is thick and which has a through bore (3). A console-like guide rod attachment (20), support rod attachment (21) and brake calliper connection (25) are formed on the wheel bearing socket in mutually off-set positions. The wheel bearing socket is adjoined by a solid stub axle neck (7) running curved in the longitudinal extension and having attachments (13,13') at its free end (11) for a cross rod. A laterally protruding track rod lever (15) is moulded on and has an outwardly tapering rectangular centre section and track rod lever connection (17) at the end. |
