PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder for forming ceramic, having good drying property and hygroscopic property, enabling formation of thin film of green sheet in formed product of ceramics, having high strength of green sheet, free from warping or crack of sheet and having good releasing property from a substrate film used in sheet preparation and free from occurrence of crack in sintering. SOLUTION: This binder for forming ceramic consists essentially of an acrylic water-dispersible copolymer resin obtained by subjecting a radical polymerizable monomer mixture containing 5-40 pts.wt. (meth)acrylonitrile, 5-90 pts.wt. (meth) acrylate and 0.01-20 pts.wt. unsaturated carboxylic acid to emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization in the presence of a water-soluble or water- dispersible polymer. The copolymer resin has preferably a heterogeneous layer structure. |
