PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of easily and certainly mount a lid member at a proper position, strong in a lid member fitting state and especially excellent in the resistance force against lateral load. SOLUTION: In a container consisting of a container main body 2 and the lid member 4 externally fitted to the neck part 3 of the container main body 2, a plurality of ribs 5 or recessed parts 6 fitted to each other are respectively provided to the inner peripheral surface of the lid member 4 and the outer peripheral surface of the neck part 3 and at least one recessed part 6 is formed so as to surround the rib 5 when the peripheral edge thereof is fitted to the rib 5 and at least a part of the lid member 4 and/or the neck part 3 is elastically deformed by external force to fit the rib 5 in the recessed part 6. |
