PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a sterilization, a reduction of enzyme activity, a degeneration of a powdery particulate substance by putting the powdery particulate substance into a specific heating tube, heat-treating and then discharging the powdery particulate substance for uniformly and efficiently heat-treating the powdery particulate substance. SOLUTION: This method for heat-treating a powdery particulate substance is to put a powdery particulate substance such as a soybean, a fish meal, etc., into a perpendicularly arranged tubular heating tube 11, then heat-treat the powdery particulate substance by supplying a heating medium to the heating tube 11, and then discharge the powdery particulate substance therefrom. Further, the heat-treatment is preferably conducted by using a heat-treatment device equipped with a raw material charging port 9 in the upper direction, a raw material discharging port 10 in the lower direction, and heating medium charging port 14 and an exhaust port 15 at the side part, and constituted by a heating tube 11 arranged as perpendicularly, a charging valve 12 installed at the raw material charging part 9, and a water drainage valve 13 installed at the raw material discharging port 10. |
