PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic shellfish selector capable of accurately selecting shellfishes by sizes despite of a simple structure and lightness, excellent in waterproofness. SOLUTION: A hopper 4 for throwing shellfishes into a selector 2 is installed above the selector 2. The hopper 4 is directly or indirectly vibrated by a driving body different front a driving body for vibrating the selector 2 to send the shellfishes in the hopper 4 to the selector 2. The selector 2 and the hopper 4 are directly or indirectly vibrated by a common driving body and the driving body is installed above the selector 2. A rotary type raking out tool for sending the shellfishes outside is laid in the hopper 4. The hopper 4 is equipped with a conveyor for sending the shellfishes to the outside. A straightening body for dispersing the shellfish in the width direction of the hopper 4 is installed in the hopper 4 and a flow rate adjusting lid for automatically opening and closing according to the outflow of the shellfishes at the outlet side of the hopper 4 so as to change the opened and closed amount of the outlet of the hopper 4 is fixed. |
