PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the consumption of a battery by inputting a pulse width modulation signal to an output transistor from a control circuit and cutting the power supply to a motor from the battery in an output transistor when the pulse width modulation signal is off. SOLUTION: When a pedal crank is worked, a pedaling torque detecting mechanism 81 detects the pedaling torque at that time, and outputs a pedaling torque signal FL. This pedaling torque signal FL is input to an arithmetic circuit 90 included in a controller 69. In the arithmetic circuit 90, a comparing circuit 62 compares the input pedaling torque signal FL, with a lower limit of a predetermined torque, and a motor output signal is input to a control circuit 63. Then the control circuit 63 converts the motor output signal into the PWM voltage VP, to input the same to an output transistor 64 of an electric power circuit 91. When this PWM voltage VP is off, the power supply to a motor 31 from a battery 77 is cut in the output transistor 64. |
