PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow boxes to be stacked for storage and also to allow contents to be easily taken out of a box in a lower stage by including an opening with a lid on a front side of a box-like body, providing pillar-like reinforcing parts on both inner side faces of the opening and further by making a corrugated medium direction of a corrugated board on a body side face vertical. SOLUTION: An opening is formed on a front side of a box body of the corrugated board box 1, lids 7 integrally formed with and protruding contiguously from an upper face 1b and a lower face 1c of the body are provided, and also a pair of prism-shaped reinforcing parts 2 are formed on both sides of the opening. Further, a corrugated medium direction on a side face 1a of the corrugated board box 1 is made vertical as indicated by an arrow A. Thus the box 1 can be further reinforced against a vertical load, there is little risk in crushing even if a plurality of boxes are stacked, and the boxes can be stacked in a plurality of stages. In addition, since the opening is located on the front side, it can be opened without removing the boxes on upper stages when contents are to be taken out of a box in a lower stage, so that the boxes can be used as a simple shelf. |
