PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of the valve seal surface of a throttle body made of resin even when a warp is generated at the mounting flange of the throttle body of resin when the mounting flange of the throttle body made of resin is fastened against the flange of an intake manifold. SOLUTION: In a throttle body 1 made of resin having a circular metal fitting 4 for fastening a bolt mounting in the insertion hole 5 of a mounting flange 2, the mounting flange has the throttle body 1 made of resin only one side of which is formed in a wide width and an insertion hole 5 is formed in the wide width part of a mounting flange 2. A cylindrical protrusion 22 is formed below the mounting flange 2, and an elastic seal 24 is mounted in the outer peripheral groove 23 of the cylindrical protrusion 22.
