PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a resin composite, capable of improving heat and tracking resistances, good in moldability and useful for a case of safety equipment parts such as a thermostat, a temperature fuse or a temperature switch by including a resin and a specific filler in a specified proportion therein. SOLUTION: This resin composite is produced by including (A) 70-30 vol.% resin such as a thermosetting resin, e.g. a phenolic resin and (B) 30-70 vol.% inorganic filler containing a hydrous inorganic compound such as aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide having <=3μm average grain diameter. The resin composite is preferably prepared by a method for mixing the components A with B in a mixer, kneading the resultant mixture in a Brabender, then pulverizing the resultant kneaded material or the like, press molding the prepared mixed raw material at normal temperatures, subsequently demolding the molded product from a metallic mold and hot-curing or photo- setting the molded product. The resultant resin composite is useful for a case of safety equipment parts such as a current fuse, a fuse resistor or a varister. |
