PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding product made of a polyester resin excellent in transparency, heat resistance, mechanical characteristics and smell retaining properties, useful as a container for foods and beverages and a packaging material. SOLUTION: In this molding product made of a polyester resin comprising a polyethylene terephthalate as a main repeating unit, the molding product made of the polyethylene terephthalate has <=30 ppm liberated ethylene glycol, <=70 ppm liberated monohydroxyethyl terephthalate, <=100 ppm liberated bishydroxyethyl terephthalate, <=150 ppm of total amounts of the liberated monohydroxyethyl terephthalate and the liberated bishydroxyethyl terephthalate and <=350 ppm of a bishydroxyethyl terephthalate dimer in the material. |
